Job Description

At HCL Technologies, we are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to lead our ServiceNow initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions and integrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement test plans for complex features and modules.
  • Utilize automation tools and frameworks to increase test efficiency and proactively advocate for timely fixes and quality assurance best practices.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document software defects according to established procedures.
  • Partner with developers to analyze, prioritize, and verify defect resolutions, while actively participating in test reviews to drive continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technology trends and contribute to the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks or libraries.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and administration, including hands-on experience with various modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CMDB.
  • Proven experience in a technical lead or solution architect role, with a track record of successfully leading ServiceNow projects and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions and integrations.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, development, and scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript, etc.).
  • Proficiency in integrating ServiceNow with other enterprise systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and middleware solutions.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and best practices for IT service management.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer, Implementation Specialist, or other relevant ServiceNow certifications preferred.
  • Additional certifications in project management or solution architecture (e.g., PMP, TOGAF) are a plus.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Soft Skills:
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle complex technical challenges and provide effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with experience managing teams and projects.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
