POSITION: BARTENDER

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Bartender is tasked with delivering exceptional and friendly service to every patron at the bar. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages to guests and staff.

Accurate handling of cash transactions is essential.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • ABO certification is mandatory.
  • LACT Permit is required.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of bartending experience is necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must possess the dexterity and willingness to learn entertainment pouring techniques.
  • Ability to engage in professional and friendly conversations with guests.
  • Knowledge of traditional cocktail mixology is essential.
  • Capability to enforce company policies regarding alcohol consumption.
  • Responsible for maintaining inventory and processing payments.
  • Flexibility to work any day and shift is required.
  • Must be able to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing beverage training is expected.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
  • Able to manage the demands of multiple customers simultaneously.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Warmly greets and welcomes all guests in a courteous manner.
  • Prepares and serves a wide range of drinks upon request.
  • Delivers entertainment through engaging pouring techniques.
  • Provides guests with information about current events, promotions, and attractions.
  • Handles all cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and providing receipts.
  • Contacts designated staff members as needed by guests.
  • Adheres to attendance policies and departmental guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCE:

PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and reach as necessary.
  • Capable of lifting and transporting bar supplies to storage areas.
  • Must respond to visual and auditory signals.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and navigate the area throughout the shift.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively over the phone in a loud setting.
