We are seeking an experienced Ice Maintenance Team Leader to join our team at Genesis Health Clubs. This is a challenging role that requires strong leadership and maintenance skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day maintenance of our ice rink facilities, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and that the rink is safe for users. This will involve developing and implementing maintenance schedules, coordinating repairs and upgrades, and supervising a team of maintenance staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To maintain a high level of service delivery, ensuring that all ice rink facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained.
  • To develop and implement effective maintenance schedules, ensuring that all equipment is regularly inspected and repaired as needed.
  • To supervise a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • To coordinate repairs and upgrades to equipment, working with external contractors as necessary.
  • To maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inventory management.
  • To collaborate with other departments, including operations and customer service, to ensure that all aspects of ice rink facilities are well-maintained.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in building or facilities management.
  • Proven leadership and maintenance skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move equipment as required.
