Key Responsibilities

The role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and systems according to specifications, blueprints, manuals, and drawings. This is achieved through the use of hand tools, power tools, hoists, cranes, welding equipment, as well as measuring and testing devices:

  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment utilizing electrical and electronic testing tools.
  • Identify unusual sounds from machines or equipment to pinpoint malfunctions and collaborate with supervisors or fellow maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues.
  • Dismantle faulty machines and equipment, installing new or repaired components in accordance with specifications and blueprints using precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
  • Maintain cleanliness and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and other machinery components using appropriate tools.
  • Utilize cutting torches or welding equipment for metal part assembly or repair.
  • Adhere to company policies regarding workplace cleanliness and safety standards.
Essential Qualifications

The position requires expertise in millwright skills, including but not limited to:

  1. Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  2. Proficient welding and fitting skills.
  3. Basic understanding of electrical systems.
