Responsibilities:

* Lead team of Oracle database administrators and engineers in administering Oracle 19c databases.
* Perform Oracle database administration; analyze and optimize database performance utilizing indexes and dynamic tables to improve application response time.
* Maintain, upgrade, test and implement patches and security measures to safeguard Oracle databases.
* Modify existing database structures to support new requirements for government applications.

Requirements:

* Ability to organize and lead a technical team
* Bachelor's or higher degree in Software Engineering, Computer of Information Systems, or related field
* 7-10 years of relevant experience including 7+ years Oracle database administration experience
* 1–5 years of experience working with large scale applications
* Experience with SQL, PL/SQL and OS programming shell scripting
* Experience with database structures, table maintenance and familiarity with data manipulation
* Experience working within an Agile/Kanban development cycle
* Current IAT II or higher 8570 certification (e.g. Security+)
* Active Secret Clearance

Desired Skills:

* Previous experience with the USAF
* Experience with performing DISA STIG checks
* Experience with Oracle backup and recovery using RMAN and Data Pump
* Experience with administrating Oracle Access Manager (OAM), APEX, and Oracle Analytics Suite (OAS)
* Demonstrated experience with UNIX system commands (e.g., mv, cp, rm, grep, vi) and the ability to troubleshoot system, application, and network issues
