Job Overview

This role is responsible for securing sub-contractor technicians across the US and Canada to assist in installation, service, and maintenance of our customer's equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, screen, qualify, and secure sub-contractor technicians across the country to assist in installation, service, and maintenance of UAS customer equipment.
  • Coordinate and secure subcontractors for pre-sale site surveys.
  • Negotiate and secure acceptable sub-contractor rates.
  • Manage and update sub-contractor paperwork and follow-up accordingly.
  • Collect and maintain sub-contractor insurance certificates.
  • Maintain an up-to-date database of sourcing requests from the operations team and provide regular updates.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database including sub-contractor feedback, certifications, and qualifications associated with our core four services.
  • Establish standards for site safety and installation quality control.
  • Assist in developing and maintaining a ratings system for sub-contractors.
  • Support Operations technical support with on-boarding process for new technicians.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Service, Installation, and other departments professionally to ensure customer satisfaction as it relates to the procurement processes.
  • Establish relationships and negotiate terms with vendors leveraging enterprise capabilities.
  • Analyze and evaluate vendor pricing for alignment of P&L goals.
  • Source partners needed to provide regular services to UAS operations and facilities.
  • Identify services rendered and preferred system types that subcontractors specialize in to aid operations in efficient utilization of resources.
  • Streamline all communication/scripting related to procurement communications to create cadence in the way we onboard new subcontractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma and three years of procurement/subcontract management experience.
  • Knowledge of installation methods and requirements for Fire/Security/CCTV/Access Controls systems preferred.
  • Experience with sourcing labor and materials related to service-related work.
  • Experience with Google My Map/CRM/ERP systems preferred. Experience with Microsoft Suite required.
  • Strong organizational skills and outstanding communication skills are a must to work in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Experience working with National Accounts a plus.
  • Ability to work within a team environment.

Work Requirements:

  • Position is considered sedentary and requires extended periods of telephone and PC exposure.
