Senior Medicare Medicaid Biller Collector

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medicare Medicaid Biller Collector to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a key member of our revenue cycle team, you will be responsible for billing and collections, ensuring timely and accurate payment of accounts in accordance with Medicare and Medicaid guidelines.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing information, including patient demographics and insurance details.
- Process and submit claims to Medicare and Medicaid in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow up with payers and other entities to secure payment of accounts.
- Responsible for billing through account closure, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve claim rejections and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Minimum of three years hospital managed care/commercial collector experience.
- 2 years of recent hospital Medicare billing experience in an automated environment.
- Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements.
- Familiarity with out-of-state Medicaid billing guidelines and basic Medicaid/Medicare billing rules and regulations.
