The Innovation Lab at Damco Solutions is seeking an experienced AI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge GenAI software solutions that support the lab's mission of driving innovation within the company.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices, as well as a passion for innovation. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive experimentation and proof-of-concepts, incubate successful ideas, and materialize them into production-ready solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain GenAI software solutions that support the innovation lab's projects.
  • Build systems using cloud technologies to train AI models on large data sets and enable these models to generate new, original content.
  • Develop UI, microservices, and infrastructure as code specifically for solutions utilizing GenAI.
  • Develop, code, test, and build CI/CD and AI/Client Ops related infrastructure to support GenAI specific initiatives.
  • Contribute to end-to-end management of AI solutions.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into software specifications.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional with the following qualifications:

  • 4 years of experience in software development.
  • 3 years Experience working as a cloud developer (preferably on Azure).
  • Familiarity with building microservices in the cloud: C#, Node.js, Azure, etc.
  • Experience in building cloud-native microservices using containers with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless technologies.
  • Proficiency in Relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, CosmosDB.
  • Knowledge in AI-centric programming knowledge such as Python, and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
  • Possess data management knowledge, including data pre-processing, augmentation, and generation of synthetic data.
  • Understanding of ethical AI practices: designing generative AI systems which are fair, transparent, and respectful of privacy.
  • Proven experience in delivering generative AI solutions.
  • Strong presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively.

Estimated Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
