Job Summary:

Samaritan Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team in a part-time capacity. As a Radiology Tech, you will be responsible for performing radiological exams in a safe and prudent manner, producing diagnostic exams of the highest quality, and creating a quality environment for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a full range of diagnostic radiography, including collimation and tomographic factors.
  • Assist the attending physician during exams and ensure that appropriate body parts are imaged and identified.
  • Handle confidential information according to HIPAA regulations and maintain professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations.
  • Ensure no injuries to self or others by following safe work practices and policies.
  • Act as a mentor to students from affiliated Radiology Technology Programs.

Requirements:

  • Competency on equipment listed on department-specific checklist.
  • Ability to push, pull, or move heavy equipment.
  • Practices within legal and ethical guidelines.

Working Conditions:

This is a part-time position working Monday - Thursday from 9:00am-5:30pm for a total of 32 hours a week at our Pioneer Clinic location. Up to $7,500 sign-on bonus, subject to two-year Hospital Sign on Advance Agreement.
