Indian Health Board of Minneapolis is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. As a LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the well-being of our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist medical providers with patient examinations, including vital signs, medication reconciliation, and documenting complaints into electronic medical records.
- Implement interventions delegated by licensed healthcare providers, such as performing EKGs, vision and hearing screenings, and dental varnishing.
- Administer medications, injections, and immunizations as prescribed by practitioners or under the licensed healthcare provider's protocol.
- Provide health education to patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Observe, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to medications and treatments.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current LPN licensure in Minnesota.
- Maintains continuing education contact hours per Minnesota Board of Nursing.
- Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained.
