We are seeking a skilled pulmonologist to join our team at Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas. As a board certified/board eligible pulmonologist, you will have the opportunity to practice in a busy clinic located near the hospital campus, working closely with highly skilled support staff. The position offers a competitive salary guarantee and lucrative wRVU incentives.
About the Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills, coordinating discharge planning with case management, and participating in academic programs such as medical education and research. They will also accept patient referrals from other physicians, act as admitting, attending and/or consulting physician for patients who require hospitalization, and provide appropriate documentation that meets insurance company requirements. The position requires a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, licensure from the Kansas Board of Healing Arts, and completion of a pulmonary fellowship program.
