Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Outpatient Clinic

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our outpatient clinic team. This position is available immediately and will run through a specified period. Local candidates are preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Manage in-basket messages and patient calls
- Interpret test results and implement care plans
- Conduct general GI patient visits
- Perform history and physical examinations for colon patients, follow-ups, and new patient consultations
- Handle a patient load of 10 patients per day
- Collaborate with support staff including Medical Assistants (MA), Registered Nurses (RN), and Schedulers
- No pediatric patients
- Active CT license (preferred)
- Board Certified (ANCC/AANP/NCCPA)
- BLS and DEA certifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience working as an APRN in an outpatient setting
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Supportive and collaborative work environment
