Nurse Clinician III, Outpatient Position

As a skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician III, you will possess the knowledge and skills to meet the standards for competent professional nursing practice as specified in the Texas Nurse Practice Act. You will be an experienced, knowledgeable, and skilled professional in your specialty area, able to function independently and make decisions that are problem-focused and patient-centered. You will be responsible for providing patient care through nursing practices based upon the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice, and Professional Performance. You will also be expected to manage unexpected or emergency situations that are commonly seen in the assigned specialty population.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care through nursing practices based upon the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Practice, and Professional Performance.
- Manage unexpected or emergency situations that are commonly seen in the assigned specialty population.
- Serve as a resource for Nurse Clinician I or II.
- Manage commonly seen contingency situations that arise on the clinical unit.
Requirements:
- RN with two years of clinical RN experience.
- Must possess and maintain a current license or valid permit to practice in Texas.
- Current BLS required.
- ACLS or must obtain after hire.
- IV skills, stress test, holter monitor, and event monitor.
Work Schedule:
Part-time, 24 hours per week.
