Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the nursing staff
  • Assist with medical procedures, such as wound care or tube feeding
  • Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of basic physiology and medical terminology
  • Familiarity with behavioral health and working in a medical office setting
  • Experience with specialized procedures such as spinal taps or working in an ICU
  • Experience working in a nursing home or long-term care facility is a plus
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, such as eClinicalWorks
  • Understanding of primary care principles and patient care plans
  • Knowledge of tube feeding techniques and protocols
  • Ability to accurately complete medical documentation
