Job Title: Building Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Mechanic to join our maintenance team at Boscov's. As a Building Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and functionality of our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and repair of store buildings, including electrical work up to 480 vac/3 phase.
  • Clean and organize maintenance areas to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Repair and maintain machinery, equipment, and tools to ensure optimum working order.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and service HVAC-related equipment, including compressor change-outs and motor replacements.
  • Service and replace plumbing fixtures, and perform electrical generator inspections and minor repairs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one to three years of HVAC and general building repair/maintenance experience.
  • Universal Certificate preferred; National Refrigeration Certificate or willingness to acquire same within two years.
  • Ability to work with minimal direction and have open availability, including evenings and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, trade school background helpful.
