Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Pulmonary Function Lab at Baystate Health. As a key member of our respiratory care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the Pulmonary Function Lab, including pulmonary function testing and respiratory therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest respiratory care techniques and technologies to provide the best possible care for our patients.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance our respiratory therapy services and patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
  • Current certification as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • One or more years of experience in respiratory care, preferably in a pulmonary function lab setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
