Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. as a traveling professional.

Job Summary:

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This includes operating medical equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and assisting physicians during procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate medical equipment, such as catheters and ultrasound machines, to diagnose and treat cardiovascular diseases.
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and administering medications as needed.
  • Assist physicians during procedures by providing support and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the physician.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting.
  • Current certification as a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
