Neuropathologist Specialist

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Children's Minnesota is looking for a highly skilled Neuropathologist to join our team. As a key member of our pathology group, you will play a crucial role in the success of our neurosurgery service.

We receive approximately 10,000 surgical and cytology specimens and process nearly 1 million laboratory tests per year. Our work environment is collegial and collaborative, with a close consultative relationship with all clinical and surgical services.

Our service averages 100-150 complex cases annually, with significant growth expected over the next 2-3 years following the opening of our new iMRI neurosurgical suite. Participation in neuropathology consultation for our active autopsy service is also desired.

Our team includes 6 pathologists, 2 physicians overseeing transfusion medicine services, a full-time pathologists' assistant, and an excellent histology staff. We offer subspecialty coverage in pediatric pathology, clinical microbiology, molecular pathology, and hematopathology.

• Must have an M.D. or D.O. with a current Minnesota Medical License or the ability to obtain one
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neuropathology
