Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver/Mover to join our team at Hire Velocity. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of amusement gaming equipment to various customer locations.

Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Delivery: Safely transport and deliver amusement gaming equipment to customers using company-provided vehicles.
  • Loading and Unloading: Properly load and unload equipment at customer locations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
  • Driving Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date driving records, adhering to company and jurisdictional standards.
  • Pre-Delivery Preparation: Assist in preparing amusement game machines for delivery, ensuring they are properly configured and ready for installation.
  • Installation Assistance: Occasionally assist with the installation of amusement equipment at customer locations.
  • Multi-Night Trips: Participate in multi-night trips as required, ensuring timely delivery and excellent customer service.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with direct supervisors to optimize delivery schedules and meet business needs.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain compliance with all safety procedures, adhering to good housekeeping and safety standards in all work areas and vehicles.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with Federal, State, Municipal, Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
Qualifications:
  • Education: GED/High School diploma.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license and clear driving record.
  • Box Truck Experience: Experience with box truck driving, including DOT requirements and procedures.
  • DOT Medical Card: Valid DOT medical card or ability to pass a DOT physical.
  • Physical Abilities: Ability to safely drive vehicles up to 26'/26,000 lbs, lift and manipulate objects up to 75 lbs, and move equipment using hand trucks, dollies, and pallet jacks.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with ability to adapt to changing situations.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lifting: Ability to lift a minimum of 75 lbs (15%).
  • Moving: Ability to move/push gaming equipment (15%).
  • Sitting/Driving: Sitting/driving (25%).
  • Walking/Standing: Walking/standing (30%).
  • Bending/Squatting: Bending/squatting (15%).
