The primary objective of this role is to deliver fast and friendly service to our customers while performing various tasks in a convenience store environment.

Responsibilities include customer service, cash handling, food preparation, restocking items, maintaining cleanliness, and other sales floor-related duties.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review work schedules, check equipment and supplies, and adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
  • Provide a swift and friendly shopping experience for all customers and address any inquiries promptly.
  • As a cashier, scan items, handle cash transactions, bag products, and maintain cash levels.
  • Ensure proper execution of all marketing initiatives.
  • Prepare and rotate food service items, including beverages.
  • Restock products to maintain inventory levels.
  • Check-in vendors according to established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness through regular cleaning and upkeep.
  • Organize aisles, checkout areas, and product displays as necessary.
  • Communicate regularly with management regarding customer inquiries and vendor issues.
  • Perform limited maintenance duties related to gas station areas.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to understand and communicate company policies and safety regulations effectively.
  • Must meet the physical requirements for this position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be willing to learn to use the necessary equipment and tools for this role.
  • Must adhere to company performance standards, including regular attendance.
  • Must possess and maintain any required licenses or permits for the position.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more based on business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual maximum.
  • Lift/carry: up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, Sit 0%, Walk 45%.
  • Category IV: lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Maximum pull static: 20 lbs.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Team members are expected to understand company policies and procedures as outlined in the policy manual and team member handbook.
