About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Crusoe Energy. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing, assembling, and continuously improving processes for products and parts manufactured onsite.

Responsibilities
  • Work with basic hand tool skills, PPE, drilling, and tapping of metal to assemble parts and assemblies
  • Follow work instructions and meet quality standards with zero defects
  • Photograph projects to provide quality history, palletize, and band product, ensuring proper packaging for customer delivery
  • Obtain shipping invoices and packing slips, package items according to procedures and packing requirements
  • Complete Quality Check Sheets to company standards prior to final packaging
  • Update Team Status Board to reflect work order status and note quality, safety, and improvement encounters
  • Work as a team to coordinate workflow, accomplish daily goals, and communicate production status, concerns, and issues
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, use pallet jacks or forklifts to move material throughout the shop
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-2+ years of experience reading and interpreting Mechanical drawing/Blueprint packages
  • Ability to read and understand a wide range of blueprints
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to check and modify drawings as needed
  • Requires lifting, lowering, pushing, and pulling merchandise up to 50lbs
  • Requires standing, walking, stooping, and bending for 8 hours or more daily
  • Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back
  • Must be detail-oriented and a team player with a positive attitude
  • Forklift experience and proficiency in basic hand tools are preferred
  • Electro-mechanical experience and ISO 9001:2015 certification are a plus
