Tempur-Pedic Team Lead

As a key member of our team, the Tempur-Pedic Team Lead plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while promoting and selling our premium products. This individual will also serve as a trusted leader, providing support to management and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Supervision: Collaborate with management to drive store leadership and supervision, ensuring a positive and productive work environment.
  • Brand Awareness and Advocacy: Develop and implement strategies to increase brand awareness and advocacy, driving sales and exceeding projected store goals.
  • Recruitment and Development: Assist in recruiting, hiring, and developing store associates, fostering a culture of growth and excellence.
  • Customer Experience: Provide premium customer service, building strong relationships with our consumers and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
  • Visual Merchandising and Brand Presentation: Support management in maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and brand presentation, creating an engaging and immersive store environment.
  • Financial Management: Ensure accurate and timely financial management, including controlling expenses and achieving sales targets.
  • Store Operations: In the absence of store management, provide leadership and guidance to ensure the store operates to Tempur-Pedic standards.
  • Culture and Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and open environment, promoting teamwork and open communication across all areas of the company.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in high-end luxury and/or custom products.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales skills in a consultative environment, with a proven ability to drive sales and exceed targets.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
  • Technical Skills: Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards, with fluency in current retail software and computer systems.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.
  • Compensation: $18.00 per hour, plus 2 monthly incentives.
