Position Title:
Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is tasked with assessing patient conditions and collaborating with physicians to deliver optimal patient care. This role involves planning, executing, and documenting nursing interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and prioritize care.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Execute therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with established standards.
- Advocate for evidence-based practices and support the integration of innovative care delivery methods.
Shift Details:
- Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, with every other weekend required.
- Flexibility to float to various units as needed, including MedSurg, Telemetry, and Step Down units.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care, particularly in ICU/CCU settings.
- Proficient in managing complex cardiac care, including care for Covid-19 patients when necessary.
Required Skills:
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Strong background in Med/Surg nursing.
Education:
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or equivalent.
Language Proficiency:
- English: Read, Write, Speak.
Employment Type:
- Travel Contract, typically spanning 8-9 weeks.
