The JobWe're looking for a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team. As an SRE, you'll contribute to designing, implementing, and maintaining critical systems that power our platform. Your key responsibilities will include:
Building and managing our internal build and test infrastructure, encompassing multiple builds and hundreds of thousands of tests in both on-prem and cloud environments (e.g., AWS and Azure Native Qumulo Scalable File Service [ANQ]).
Developing solutions that streamline our build and test processes, leveraging automation to improve efficiency and scalability.
Troubleshooting complex issues, from build-time errors to integration test failures involving virtual machines and Qumulo-qualified hardware.
Designing and implementing monitoring systems to ensure optimal system performance and notify engineers of any issues.
Key Requirements- Linux expertise (Ubuntu)
- Proficiency in Python or similar languages
- Experience with system orchestration tools (Ansible, Terraform, cloud-specific implementations)
- Familiarity with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container management
- Monitoring tools expertise (Grafana, InfluxDB, Prometheus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Build automation and test framework knowledge
