Transformational Leader

We are a leading company in the electric vehicle battery business, formed through a joint venture between Ford and SK On. Our mission is to provide products and processes that increase our customers' experience.

Ford and SK On are investing billions in Kentucky and Tennessee, building three state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facilities at BlueOval City in Tennessee and BlueOval SK Battery Park in Kentucky.

Our new advanced manufacturing facilities will use Ford's 100 years of automobile manufacturing expertise and SK On's 30+ years of electric vehicle battery expertise to become the world's best battery manufacturer.

We are seeking an experienced Transformational Leader to join our team as a Master Black Belt. As part of our start-up team, you will have a unique opportunity to launch our facility from the ground up.

This role is responsible for using a Six-Sigma approach to improve all areas of the business within the facility, including implementing and leading BOSK Six Sigma strategy, coaching plant OCM, Black belts and Green belts, and teaching Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt classes.

• Six Sigma Strategy Implementation: Develop and implement a comprehensive Six Sigma strategy to drive business excellence within the facility.
• Coaching and Development: Coach plant OCM, Black belts, and Green belts in strategic problem-solving and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Teaching and Training: Teach Six Sigma Black Belt and Green Belt classes to develop skills and knowledge within the organization.
• Project Management: Lead and assist problem-solving teams at BOSK facilities and suppliers, running Six Sigma Kaizen projects to support resolution of significant issues.

• Leadership Experience: Proven track record of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Six Sigma Certification: Master Black Belt certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline or strong manufacturing experience preferred.

• Salary: $120,000 per year.
