The Wireless Frameworks and Services team is in search of a highly driven and dedicated Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers in the development and maintenance of automation frameworks across all Apple platforms, including Apple Watch, Apple TV, AirPods, iOS, and macOS. The ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership abilities, appreciate an iterative approach to problem-solving, and possess strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Our team is responsible for creating frameworks, services, and testing tools that facilitate Wireless testing across all Apple platforms. We also contribute to core operating system frameworks and develop shared Python and Objective-C frameworks and modules. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Leading a team of framework developers to design and sustain automation frameworks
  • Mentoring junior engineers
  • Establishing a development team and defining its objectives regarding tool delivery, structure, and daily outputs

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in leading projects and managing deliverables
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to excel in a collaborative environment and work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • A genuine passion for technology and a curious mindset
  • Understanding of automation processes
  • Development experience in Objective-C or Swift
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of statistics related to data analysis is advantageous
  • Experience with Continuous Integration systems such as Xcode Server, Jenkins, etc.
