We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team at PRN Healthcare. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.
Job Summary:The Catheterization Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating medical equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate medical equipment, such as fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices, to assist with procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong foundation in medical terminology and anatomy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist.
