Job Summary:

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Traveling Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Travel ICU Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing top-notch patient care and collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive measures to prevent adverse events.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in ICU nursing.

Requirements:

  • 1.5 years of experience in ICU nursing, with a strong focus on critical care and patient safety.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, with a valid IL RN license.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, and adapt to changing priorities and patient needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a focus on patient safety and quality outcomes.
