Job DescriptionA 115-bed level III trauma facility in southeastern New Mexico requires a skilled occupational therapist for a challenging assignment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients, and excellent communication skills.
- This position involves providing high-quality patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- You will work closely with a team of experienced therapists to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- The hospital's electronic medical record system is ReDoc for outpatient services and MedHost for inpatient services.
Your daily caseload will consist of 6-8 patients, and productivity expectations are set at 20 units. A guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week ensures stability and predictability in your schedule.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or higher
- NM licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- CPR/BLS certification
- A valid NPI number
This opportunity is located in Carlsbad, New Mexico, a beautiful location with plenty of sunshine, hiking trails, and recreational activities.
