**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at Neighborhood Initiatives Development Corporation. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing online portal processes, overseeing Fee-for-Service billing processes, and providing monthly P&L analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage online portal processes to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.
  • Oversee Fee-for-Service billing processes and provide monthly P&L analyses to stakeholders.
  • Monitor cash flow and prepare weekly cash receivable reports to inform financial decisions.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate differences to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Review payroll entries to ensure consistency with program/contract budgets.
  • Review and analyze credit card usage and ensure allocations to contracts.
  • Prepare monthly and occasional reports and analyses to support business growth.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience required.
  • Strong critical thinking ability and attention to detail.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism and practices discretion in maintaining all confidentiality.
  • Able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Solid computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite, internet research, and outcomes database.
  • Able to work with a variety of learning abilities.
