We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Somerby Sandy Springs. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, implementing, and coordinating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging programs that promote enjoyment and overall wellness for our residents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the unique needs and interests of our residents.
  • Coordinate transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments.
  • Assist with the preparation of our monthly community newsletter.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • CPR certification
  • Valid state driver's license with a safe driving record
  • At least one year of related work experience in senior living
