Job Summary

As an IHBT Clinician with the National Youth Advocate Program, you will play a vital role in making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families served. This position requires close collaboration with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners to provide counseling or therapy, advocacy, and support towards living safely and successfully in the community.

Responsibilities

Provide individual, group, and family mental health services, case management, transportation, and other professional services, meeting or exceeding established outcomes thresholds on behalf of persons served.
Travel daily to provide community-based services to, and on behalf of, youth and families in compliance with organizational, contract, and regulatory requirements.
Complete all required documentation in a timely manner and complete all required training in a timely manner.
Consistently achieve established productivity thresholds and coordinate and monitor services for the youth and family in the community, including but not limited to, mental health, medical, educational, psychological, vocational, and social services.
Regularly review and modify youth-based plans to assure consistent progress and success on written plan goals.

Requirements

Master's degree in Social Work or comparable Human Services field from an accredited institution.
LSW or LPC required.
Experience in providing both individual and family therapy.
Experience working in direct service with youth and families strongly preferred.
Experience with TF-CBT preferred.
Daily travel required with the willingness to meet clients on a flexible schedule or during non-traditional hours if needed.
Must be comfortable providing services in the community and in client homes.
Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
Must be willing to accept other job duties as assigned.
