Job Overview:
The Senior Technical Analyst is accountable for evaluating and addressing user-initiated requests for new system developments and modifications. This role involves crafting technical solutions to information challenges and executing technical tasks necessary for project completion, including problem assessment, program creation, testing, documentation, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates the alignment of user departmental needs with other IT functional areas, encompassing requests for enterprise sign-ons, interfaces, and technical support.
- Communicates project status and activities to senior technical analysts or designated management.
- Contributes to IT departmental projects such as operating system migrations and internet browser upgrades.
- Enhances programming skills as needed.
- Creates operational documentation for Data Center and IT HelpDesk functions.
- Develops and documents procedures for system restart and recovery.
- Provides production support for assigned IT applications, available 24/7 across all required locations, delivering IT assistance to various departments.
- Installs, maintains, and updates assigned application software as necessary.
- Formulates test plans, modifies program code, and assists users in developing test scripts prior to system releases.
- Collaborates with departmental and divisional management to formulate and execute Information Technology strategies.
- Mentors and evaluates the work of junior team members, ensuring service levels are met for user departments and systems.
- Manages vendor relationships, including contract negotiations, invoice reconciliations, release updates, issue tracking, and evaluations of new products.

Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) - (Required)
Experience:
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience is required.
