The Assistant Store Manager will provide critical support to the Store Manager in driving sales, customer satisfaction, and store appearance. This role will oversee store operations during the Store Manager's absence and ensure seamless execution of customer service programs.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the store team in delivering exceptional customer service to retail and professional customers.
- Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution of customer service programs.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to ensure adequate staffing of the retail sales counter during peak business hours.
- Assist in setting team member goals, providing feedback, and coaching/mentoring team members.
- Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store to store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner.
- Ensure efficient processing of retail customer returns and exchanges, refunds, and returned merchandise.
- Perform all store opening/closing duties, including day end procedures, verifying/securing money/deposits, and preparing bank deposits.
- Assist in maintaining the store building, parking lot, exterior signage/lighting, and computer hardware.
- Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification, and RSS Certification.
- Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification, ASE Certification, and fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
