Position Summary

The Automotive Service Technician plays a crucial role in executing vehicle repairs and maintenance according to dealership and manufacturer specifications. This position also includes overseeing the work of apprentice technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and assess repair orders before proceeding to the service area
  • Perform repairs with precision and efficiency in accordance with established standards
  • Identify vehicle issues and carry out necessary repairs
  • Collaborate with the parts department to secure needed components
  • Maintain accurate documentation of completed work and any additional safety/service needs
  • Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and well-maintained during service
Required Qualifications
  • Strong customer satisfaction ratings are vital
  • ASE certification or relevant manufacturer training is preferred
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are mandatory
  • Good manual dexterity and sound judgment are essential
  • Adherence to all safety regulations and company policies is required
