Position Overview: As a Speech-Language Pathologist at Soliant, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals facing challenges with speech, language, and communication. Your expertise will be vital in crafting and executing tailored therapy plans aimed at helping patients reach their communication objectives and enhance their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language impairments.
- Create and implement personalized treatment strategies for clients across various age groups.
- Deliver direct therapeutic interventions and track patient progress to modify treatment as necessary.
- Work collaboratively with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, ensuring accurate record-keeping and outcome reporting.
- Guide patients and their families on effective techniques to support therapy goals and advancement.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience in specific settings or with particular populations is advantageous.
