Cardiac Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Monitor Technician Mission to join our team at the North Carolina Division Office. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring multiple patients' heart activity and interpreting ECG rhythms from a central monitoring center. They will play a critical role in the healthcare team, working closely with nurses and other caregivers to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Observe telemetry monitors continuously, recognizing and documenting rhythm tracings
- Monitor Cerner Patient Observer (CPO) continuously, recognizing patient movement and proactively alerting nurses and other caregivers to prevent adverse events
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient data
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare environment, such as a CNA or EMT
- Completion of a dysrhythmia course (preferred)
