Job Title: Travel Licensed Practical Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Travel Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Healthcare Staffing Plus. As a Travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings and locations, providing high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary:

The Travel Licensed Practical Nurse will provide physical care and emotional support to patients and families under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager and Medical Director. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, working collaboratively with healthcare teams, and maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical care and emotional support to patients and families
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and treatment plans
  • Observe, report, and record pertinent patient information into electronic health records
  • Administer medications within parameters defined by the Dermatology Service
  • Perform nursing procedures within the parameters defined by the Dermatology Service
  • Photograph patients with various skin conditions using a variety of photographic procedures, techniques, and equipment
  • Participate in Quality Assurance activities and support peers and colleagues in maintaining established standards of care
  • Triaging of patient urgent clinical calls and scheduling patient appointments
  • Inform patients of pathology, lab results, and plan of care
  • Utilize In-Basket messages to monitor biopsies and ensure that all necessary therapies are administered as scheduled by the physician
Requirements:
  • Current state licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • CPR certification
  • BLS required
  • Phlebotomy experience strongly preferred
  • Graduate of an approved LPN program
  • Min 2+ years of LPN experience preferred
