Summary

The Vacuum Truck Operator plays a vital role in our Industrial Services Division. This position involves operating and maintaining vacuum trucks and related equipment to perform various tasks on industrial sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, excellent safety practices, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain vacuum trucks and associated equipment according to established procedures and guidelines.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure all equipment is in proper working order.
  • Transport and deliver materials and waste products to designated locations.
  • Assist with various industrial cleaning tasks, including tank cleaning, pipeline maintenance, and site remediation.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and fuel consumption.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure project completion on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience operating heavy-duty trucks, preferably vacuum trucks.
  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
