Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on appliances, including disassembling, diagnosing, and testing electrical circuits or components.
  • Repair worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts and reassemble equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Obtain quotes for materials and parts, and follow up with vendors and contractors.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to various weather conditions and external environments.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in electrical and/or utility trades, or formal vocational/technical training.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist for varying periods.
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to grasp tools, make repetitive hand and body motions, and twist and reach below and above shoulder.
  • Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Normal vision range with or without correction to read a computer screen, blueprints, and drafting plans.
  • Ability to hear in the normal range with or without correction.

Work Environment:

Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to low or loud noise levels, frequent fieldwork, and varying weather conditions.
