About the Role

Portsmouth Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dynamic Operating Room team. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and their families throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of pre-operative patients and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical environment.
  • Implement and maintain strict aseptic technique throughout the surgical procedure.
  • Provide care, compassion, and emotional support to patients and their families throughout the surgical process.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in surgical technology, nursing practices, and industry regulations.
  • Educational opportunities to grow your practice and education with tuition reimbursement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in NH or valid Compact State License.
  • BLS (American Heart Association BLS Provider or American Red Cross BLS).
  • ACLS (American Heart Association ACLS Provider or American Red Cross ACLS) within 60 days of hire.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) preferred but not required.
