Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist III to join our team at Denver Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing general radiographic examinations and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain Bone Density (DEXA) certification and ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of Bone Density Equipment.
  • Perform high-quality general radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging studies and provide cross-coverage support when staffing needs arise.
  • Develop and maintain super user status for specialized perioperative service imaging needs and provide comprehensive training to fellow Radiography Technologists.
  • Effectively interact with Denver Health's PACS system and use Epic to input patient examination data and place patient orders.
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and personal dignity by following appropriate patient care guidelines.
  • Assist in the maintenance of department inventory and maintain imaging and processing equipment.
  • Take on lead roles and coordinate the completion of inpatient orders involving performing and ordering clinicians.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree and Bone Density Certificate required.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional work experience in performing general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures.
  • BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association and RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
