Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Veterans Support Specialist to join our team at Goodwill Industries of the Inland Northwest. As a key member of our Supportive Services for Veterans Families (SSVF) program, you will provide critical support to veterans and their families, helping them achieve housing stability and overcome challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct needs assessments and develop individualized housing stability plans for participants.
  • Coordinate and provide supportive services, including consulting with participants, monitoring progress, and ensuring access to necessary resources.
  • Interpret and explain program information, eligibility requirements, and application details to participants.
  • Collaborate with department and contracted community agencies to ensure effective implementation of Individual Housing Plans.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with participants, referral agencies, community partners, and team members.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of participant information and program activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid driver's license with personal auto insurance and ability to pass background and driver record checks.
