About this Role

This position involves installations, alterations, additions, and/or repairs of electrical power or other distribution systems, and associated materials and equipment. You will work on overhead power lines or underground electrical systems, requiring 100% travel throughout the Midwest.


Key Responsibilities

As a Lineworker, you will perform duties necessary to complete assigned tasks under the direct supervision of project foremen and project managers. You will maintain a clean work area, demonstrate safe work habits, and properly care for tools and equipment. You must clearly understand and comply with Cable Communication Services and Federal Job Safety Requirements (O.S.H.A.). You will also be responsible for reporting to assigned job sites on time, maintaining and storing tools and equipment, and using tools, equipment, and materials safely and accurately.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • A Line School Certificate or Transcripts
  • A Department of Labor Recognized Journeyman Lineworker Certification
  • 4+ years of previous underground utilities experience
  • An Active, Valid Driver's License
  • An Active, Valid DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate
  • An Active, Valid CDL A
