Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Security Officer to join our team at SFO. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of air travelers, airports, and aircraft.

Responsibilities
  • Screen passengers and their carry-on items using advanced electronic detection and imaging equipment.
  • Operate x-ray machines and other security equipment to identify potential threats.
  • Conduct pat-down searches and other security checks as needed.
  • Review tickets and other documents to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with other security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must pass a background investigation, including a criminal check and fingerprinting.
  • Must pass a drug screening and medical evaluation.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
