Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Barnes-Jewish Hospital Allied. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the administration of radioactive materials and the operation of imaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radioactive materials to patients for diagnostic imaging purposes
  • Operate imaging equipment, including PET scanners, to produce high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Develop and implement procedures for the safe handling and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine or a related field
  • ARRT N, BLS, NMTCB CNMT certification
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a teaching hospital or with EPIC
  • Ability to draw venous blood and start peripheral IVs
Work Environment

This position may transfer to our new PET facility on campus, which will feature a state-of-the-art Quadra camera. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
