About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at a newly established precast concrete manufacturing plant. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the startup and growth of the facility, contributing to the overall success by helping oversee demolition work, preparing the site for production, setting up new equipment, and coordinating with various departments.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with overseeing initial demolition/re-configuration work and prepare the plant for production activities.
  • Set up and install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on all plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to coordinate the installation of new systems and equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety procedures and standards.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems as needed.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment and systems to minimize downtime.
  • Assist with inventory management for maintenance supplies and spare parts.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance plant performance.
About You:

We require a technical degree or equivalent work experience, with one plus years' experience in a manufacturing plant. You should have a working knowledge of large machine operation, construction of infrastructure, and technical expertise in welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, machining, and electronics. You should also be able to provide clear and concise verbal instructions, listen and ask questions to understand points made by others, and have general computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and database systems.
