Dennys Server

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Dennys Server to join our team at WKS Restaurant Group. As a Dennys Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and contributing to the success of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Service: Greet all customers in a friendly and efficient manner, apply suggestive selling techniques, record orders, and ensure prompt placement of orders.
• Food Preparation: Prepare appetizers, desserts, and beverages for customers, ensuring they meet company standards.
• Table Management: Greet and seat customers in the order they arrive, introduce feature of the day, and collect payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Clear remaining items from tables, clean and preset tables, and perform cleaning and stocking duties as assigned.
• Teamwork: Periodically assist other service personnel and resolve guest complaints, notifying management of any issues received.

Requirements:

• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guests are greeted and served food and beverages in a pleasant and courteous manner, following company service cycle and timing standards.
• Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry food trays weighing up to 25lbs, and meet any state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year experience in a high-volume restaurant preferred.
