Role Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Technician - Patient Enrollment Specialist plays a crucial role in our patient engagement process. This position involves conducting virtual medication assessments and onboarding patients to our specialized pharmacy services. Your background in social work, home health, or pharmacy will be instrumental as you assist patients with their medication therapy challenges.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting patient onboarding interviews via phone or video conference
- Educating patients about our pharmacy services
- Gathering detailed information regarding patients' medications, healthcare providers, and medical conditions
- Accurately documenting patient data in our pharmacy management system
- Coordinating medication regimens and scheduling initial deliveries
- Acting as the primary contact for new patients until their first medication delivery
- Following up with patients to address any questions or concerns
- Performing assigned pharmacy technician tasks under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Collaborating with pharmacy technicians to ensure accurate data entry and successful prescription transfers
- Advocating for continuous improvements in the onboarding process

Requirements:
