Job Summary

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis. As a locum OB/GYN, you will provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life, conducting gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures. You will also perform surgical procedures, diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions, and provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive healthcare for women across all stages of life
  • Conduct gynecological exams, ultrasounds, and other diagnostic procedures
  • Perform surgical procedures, such as hysterectomies, cesarean sections, and minimally invasive surgeries
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of women's health conditions
  • Provide counseling on reproductive health, contraception, and family planning
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate and complete medical records for all patients
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in obstetrics and gynecology through continuing education
Requirements
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school
  • Residency training program in obstetrics and gynecology accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or the American Osteopathic Association (AOA)
  • Board certification in obstetrics and gynecology by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the AOA
  • Active and unrestricted medical license in Kentucky
  • At least one year of experience providing obstetric and gynecological care in a clinical or hospital setting
